This project began with an interest in form. When forced to reconcile with the tectonics of joinery, materiality, and illumination, the design shifted from purely experiments in form to opportunities to apply these lenses to enhance the intersecting forms. The result is an expressive investigation into the capabilities of wood, joinery, and illumination dictated by and presented as a formal arrangement.
